The Institute of Applied Technology (IAT), as one of the Career Technical Education (CTE) stakeholders in the UAE, is leading the quest for technology education by organizing the IAT Technological Education Conference (IATTEC 2010) on 1-2 March 2010.

The focus of the conference is "Secondary Engineering Education" and it aims at shedding the light on the need for CTE in the UAE and exchanging educational best practices in : curriculum design, curriculum contents, accreditation, and engineering articulation in secondary curriculum, instructional methods, assessment tools, and educator professional development.
