The Institute of Applied Technology and Higher Colleges of Technology decided to launch a new University program in the framework of an agreement by which IAT graduates will be awarded a Bachelor degree in engineering within 3 years instead of four in six disciplines, they are: electrical, electronic, mechanical, mechatronics, civil and chemical engineering. The agreement will be implemented in the next academic year.
The agreement was signed by Engineer Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Applied Technology, and Dr. Tayeb Kamali, Director of the Higher Colleges of Technology in the presence of Dr. Abdullatif Al Shamsi, Managing Director of the Institute of Applied Technology and Marshal Durmund, Dean, Higher Colleges of Technology in Zayed complex of the Institute of Applied Technology in Abu Dhabi.
