135 students from seven Applied Technology High Schools compete to win 40 titles within the fifth session of the Emirates Award for Young Scientists launched by the Emirates Association for the Gifted.

The award is organized under the auspices of the Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai and Chairman of the association, Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. The competitions take place at the Institute of Applied Technology in Dubai with the support of the business man Mohammed Bin Haidar.
 

The students seek to achieve the title of the scientist in various disciplines such as chemistry, physics and biology.
